Halloween!

October 31, 2018 | While the day started with just some fun photos in the yard, I forced the cousins into some 2-light/FOG photos in the driveway before they could start collecting candy! So mean, but so awesome. The hardest part of the night was keeping the kids somewhat together…poor C wanted to keep up with the big kids, and E kept running in a non-stop hunt. In fact she was the last kid standing from our group with that endless energy! And then wanted to help pass out candy with Papa when we returned. The kids went through their candy on the floor, and we called it a night. M will be a little more involved next year!

Pumpkin Carving

October 28, 2018 | Continuing with doing ALL THE FALL things, it was time to carve the pumpkins! That day I posed M in the front yard with some leaves first, and then she was subjected to LOVES by E. E asks to hold her occasionally, and even tried to kiss/snuggle her some…but M wasn’t really having it. The pumpkins however were VERY interesting to the baby, and she was all in! E drew the faces this year, and I carved…then she dug out all the yucky stuff. Asking her to pose with the finished product was hilarious…she’s a performer! The sunlight was so pretty we walked to the neighbors’ yard for a few E-images…she’s the best!

Bumbo + Trunk or Treat

October 26, 2018 | Fridays I’m home with M, while E goes to Papa, and on this particular day I had the Bumbo ready. M was pretty content in there, which meant I snagged some photos. I had a couple of photo shoots in the afternoon, but after that I met the family over at Pre-K for Trunk or Treat! I missed a few of the activities, but arrived in time to see E go for ALL of the candy while M was being darn tough for how cold it was outside. Not to mention a picture with E’s best friend A — both as Unicorn/Alicorns!

Fall Sister Shoot

October 24, 2018 | When you spend a lot of time scouting for Fall colors, it’s only natural that I want to use those spaces for my OWN kiddos. This particular day, I picked both kids up from their respective child cares and forced them to a small field for photos. The colors were stunning, but dragging the props AND kids to the space was not… I did capture a LOT of images, but was completely wiped when it was over. E even had to carry some stuff back to the car for me as the sun rapidly set, which wasn’t fun. WORTH IT…again… 🙂

Whole Family Photos

October 22, 2018 | We have never really had a pro photographer tackle the whole family for a photo session before…so I kinda just BOOKED IT. Of course there was all sorts of craziness coordinating outfits/colors, but I really did like the resulting images!
